The Senior Director of Property Management System (PMS) Software will lead the strategic planning, implementation, optimization, and ongoing management of enterprise-level PMS platforms. This individual will serve as the senior-most product and technology owner for all aspects of the PMS lifecycle—overseeing product roadmaps, business process integration, vendor management, data integrity, user adoption, and performance optimization across the portfolio.
This is a highly cross-functional role that requires deep knowledge of PMS technologies (e.g., Yardi, RealPage, Entrata), strong leadership skills, and a sharp understanding of operational business needs within real estate, multifamily, or hospitality industries.
What you will do:
Define and execute the long-term PMS strategy aligned with business goals, scalability needs, and digital transformation objectives.
Lead enterprise PMS modernization initiatives, including vendor selection, implementation, and integration with internal systems (CRM, ERP, data warehouse, BI platforms, etc.).
Serve as a trusted business partner to Operations, Asset Management, Accounting, and IT, aligning system capabilities with evolving business requirements.
Build and lead a high-performing team of product managers, analysts, and technical resources.
Provide executive-level updates, business case justifications, and ROI analysis for major PMS initiatives.
Oversee the design, deployment, configuration, and ongoing support of PMS software across multiple properties or portfolios.
Manage product enhancements, release testing, and change control processes.
Ensure PMS data quality, governance, and consistency for enterprise reporting and analytics.
Own vendor relationships, including contract negotiations, performance monitoring, and escalation management.
Manage budgets, licensing, and resource allocations related to PMS systems and related tools.
Drive user enablement and adoption strategies through training, documentation, and change management programs.
Champion a culture of continuous improvement by collecting user feedback and optimizing workflows.
What you should have:
10 years of experience in enterprise software, technology leadership, or business systems management.
5 years in a leadership role directly managing PMS platforms such as Yardi, RealPage, Entrata, or equivalent.
Deep understanding of property management operations, leasing workflows, accounting processes, and tenant lifecycle management.
Strong project management experience with large-scale software deployments.
Proven ability to partner with senior business stakeholders and executive leadership.
Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and managing third-party vendors.
Bachelor's degree or School of Hard Knocks
Real Estate experience a huge plus
Preferred experience in real estate investment, multifamily housing, or hospitality operations.
Experience in end-to-end implementation of BI projects for developing a portfolio of scorecards, KPIs, reports & dashboards
Ability to communicate analytic and data solutions in an actionable manner to business managers
Strong communication skills, with the ability to initiate and drive projects proactively and accurately with a large, diverse team

Base Compensation Range:
$195,000.00 To $240,000.00 Annually. This represents the presently-anticipated low and high end of the Company’s base compensation range for this position. Actual base compensation range may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.Total Direct Compensation: This job is also eligible for discretionary bonus and incentive compensation on an annual basis.
