Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and long-term care of a portfolio of vacation rental properties. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to manage multiple tasks across several departments. You’ll act as the key liaison between property owners, guests, and internal teams to ensure every property is maintained in pristine condition and every guest experience exceeds expectations.
Property Oversight:
Maintain the overall condition and appearance of assigned vacation rental properties.
Conduct regular property walks and inspections, ensuring each unit is guest-ready at all times.
Coordinate with inspectors to uphold quality and cleanliness standards.
Cross-Departmental Communication:
Collaborate daily with the reservations, housekeeping, maintenance, and accounting teams to ensure seamless operations.
Act as a liaison between owners and internal departments for updates, approvals, and decisions.
Vendor & Maintenance Coordination:
Schedule and manage vendors for repairs, maintenance, and upgrades.
Obtain approval from property owners for any significant work or capital improvements.
Follow up on completed work to ensure high-quality results.
Insurance & Damage Claims:
File and manage insurance claims in the event of property damage or guest-related incidents.
Document issues thoroughly and work with vendors and insurance providers to resolve claims efficiently.
Owner Relations:
Conduct property walkthroughs before owner arrivals to ensure everything is in perfect condition.
Maintain professional, responsive, and transparent communication with property owners.
Emergency Availability:
Be available for after-hours emergency calls on a rotating or as-needed basis.
Proven experience in property management, hospitality, or vacation rental operations.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Proficient in property management systems and standard office software.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Problem-solver with a proactive attitude.
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (fieldwork required).
