Roving Corporate Maintenance Technician: Highland Management Group, Inc.

Position: Full-time, 40 hours per week. 

Hourly Rate: Starting at $30 per hour

Boiler/CPO Licenses: These licenses are a requirement for this position. Highland Management Group pays for educational costs, training, and licensing. This includes exam fees!

**After-Hours/Emergency Maintenance is a part of this position with pay at $100 per hour!!**

The Roving Maintenance Technician will participate in the emergency on-call service program on a rotating schedule to ensure that all residents’ needs are met, and property integrity isn’t compromised. This employee will provide quick responses to all emergency after-hours calls by phone and in person as necessary. Employees receive additional compensation for all After-Hour calls they respond to.

This position is responsible for providing maintenance operations support and training at various properties as needed to ensure business continuity and supplement existing maintenance teams. These responsibilities will be performed in a manner consistent with the policies of Highland Management Group, Inc. under the direct supervision of the Regional Director of Maintenance. Roving Maintenance Technicians must also be available for emergency service calls. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Ensure resident satisfaction through the regular upkeep of the property, including preventative maintenance, repair, and replacement.

· Maintain exterior appearance and curb appeal at properties.

· Assist in the training and mentoring of on-site maintenance employees and provide group training in specific areas of expertise as needed. 

· Complete Maintenance Requests from residents as received on work orders.

· Have a working knowledge of water and gas meter shut offs, all apartment fixtures, shut-off locations, and sewer clean-outs.

· Assure the cleanliness and good repair of vacant units. 

· Check pools (if applicable) and complete miscellaneous inspections & reports.

· Mitigate risk by conducting routine inspections of the grounds, property, and equipment. 

· Other miscellaneous tasks as requested by the Regional Director of Maintenance.
