Description
DevCo is seeking a full-time Financial Analyst to join our team in Bellevue, WA. The Financial Analyst is responsible for financial analytics related to all aspects of the business including stabilized operations, construction, and development.

Pay Details: $85,000-$120,000/year
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintains corporate and property budgeting and forecasting. Develops, improves upon and builds budget and forecast models and analytical tools.
- Collaborates with business units, developing timely and accurate monthly financial forecasts with insightful analysis against budget.
- Provides analysis in support of operational performance, making recommendations on improving performance, and partners with division directors and managers to facilitate implementation of decisions.
- Manages analysis of company’s securitization instrument analysis and assembles qualitative commentary with input from business units.
- Assembles quarterly package of company financial performance and management’s discussion and analysis.
- Coordinates and maintains tools and processes used in the reporting of monthly operating trends. These tools and processes include, but are not limited to, computer systems, spreadsheet analysis that is updated periodically on all areas of the organization, and the creation of ad hoc reports identifying favorable/unfavorable measurements.
- Educates all levels of the organization regarding the use of monthly budget variance tools and reporting. Conducts meetings with members from leadership to review the segment and departmental results and discuss enhancements to existing system.
- Develops management dashboard providing insightful and actionable operational metrics.
- Performs ad hoc business analysis, including research, presenting alternative strategies to current plans, modeling impact of various business decisions.
- Provide value to the operating companies through detailed business analysis, identification of opportunities and solutions with a clear path of action
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong Excel financial modeling skills
- Advanced knowledge of Finance concepts as applied to the commercial real estate industry
- Experience utilizing business performance measurement software
- Ability to present well-designed, illustrative and persuasive analysis to a senior management.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Suite and BI Tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Working knowledge of financial and management accounting principles
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related experience.
- 3-5 years of experience performing financial analysis job functions, including budgeting, forecasting, planning and financial reporting.
- Commercial Real Estate experience preferred but not required.
- Experience using Yardi or other enterprise software system preferred.
- Must be able to speak, read and write English in a manner sufficient to carry out duties.
- Successful completion of background check and drug screen required.
- Must be legally qualified to work in the U.S. meeting I-9 guidelines.
