Job Summary:
Reporting to the owner, the Accounting Clerk will maintain financial records, assume responsibility for managing the daily financial transactions, reconciling accounts and produce accurate financial reports to support our business operations.
Duties / Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate records and ledgers, including AP and the GL;
Process invoices and payments in a timely manner;
Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately;
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets for approval of owner;
Manage payroll processes and ensure timely and accurate employee compensation;
Prepare and pay payroll taxes;
Support the external auditors during the annual audit process and provide documentation as needed;
Assist rental manager in preparing receipts for rental postings as needed,
Qualifications:
3 years of accounting experience gained within a similar role;
Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), together with accounting software to include QuickBooks and Yardi Breeze (will train on Yardi Breeze);
Good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Compensation:
$26.00 - $32.00 per hour, DOE, for this full-time, non-exempt position.

80 hours of paid vacation annually on an accrual basis;
40 hours of standard CA paid sick time annually accrued weekly;

9:00AM – 12:00 Noon 1 Saturday per month
