POSITION SUMMARY:
The ideal candidate has extensive experience in property management, a strong understanding of LIHTC requirements (including the vacant unit rule) and currently holds a LIHTC Certification. The Property Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance to each housing developments applicable program regulations (LIHTC, Multifamily, FedHOME, PBV) and maintaining day-to-day property management functions. Responsibilities include all leasing activities including managing the waiting list, conducting screenings and initial certifications, annual recertifications, lease enforcement, rent collection, and resolving resident concerns. The Property Manager reports to the Senior Property Manager and oversees a portfolio of assigned affordable housing developments managing the physical conditions, the property operation and provides a quality living environment adhering to the authority’s objectives.
