Position: Maintenance Technician
Location: Dayton Apartment District, Dayton, OH
Scheduled Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am to 5pm, with an on-call rotation
Pay Rate: 18-$23/hour (based on experience and qualifications), plus commissions and bonuses
This position will be responsible for servicing multiple communities, providing maintenance support across various locations as needed.
Who You Are:
- Minimum of two years of experience in multi-family residential maintenance
- Strong general maintenance skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, turnovers, lighting, and more
- Friendly, professional, and responsive customer service approach
- Basic computer and smartphone proficiency
- Own basic hand tools
- Valid driver’s license and a reliable truck or van with auto insurance
- Willing to undergo background and drug screening
- Flexible to travel as needed to support maintenance at other communities
- Open to rotating on-call duties, including evenings after 5:00 PM on weekdays and weekends for emergency calls
What You'll Do as a Maintenance Technician:
- Use your maintenance skills in HVAC, pool maintenance, electric, plumbing, grounds, apartment turns, appliance repair, carpentry, locks and keys, pool care, lighting, etc.
- Complete work orders from apartment residents, while keeping the Communities clean and presentable.
- Respond to emergencies while on call or, at any time the situation presents.
