The Senior Vice President of Operations – Property Management is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence, platform innovation, and long-term growth across the company’s multifamily housing portfolio. This position will lead the development and execution of operational strategies, oversee technology platform enhancements, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure the company remains at the forefront of multifamily housing innovation.
Strategic Leadership & Planning
Develop and execute comprehensive operational strategies aligned with the company’s vision and growth goals.
Lead cross-functional collaboration with property management, development, finance, and other departments to ensure alignment and operational excellence.
Technology & Platform Innovation
Design, implement, and continuously improve the company’s property management platform.
Identify and integrate new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency, resident experience, and asset performance.
Oversee platform and system integration during acquisitions, dispositions, and portfolio transitions.
Operational Excellence
Drive innovation in leasing, resident retention, maintenance, and other core property operations.
Establish and maintain advanced analytics capabilities to support data-driven decision-making.
Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure the company’s platform remains cutting-edge.
Team Leadership & Resource Management
Build and lead high-performing teams focused on innovation and strategic execution.
Manage budgets, resources, and timelines for strategic initiatives and platform development projects.
Education and Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field required.
MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
Experience
10+ years of senior leadership experience in property management or real estate operations.
Proven track record of leading operational strategy and platform development in a multifamily housing environment.

Estimated Rate of Pay:
$200,000.00 - $250,000.00
This position is exempt; the range above reflects annual salary.
The pay range displayed for this position is determined by skills and experience required, location and job complexity*. Potential job offers may vary based on the skills, education, and experience an individual candidate holds. This range reflects base rate only, and does not include allowances, perks, commissions or bonuses applicable to this position (if any). In addition to base salary, Fairfield offers all full time associates the following, upon meeting eligibility requirements:
